Windows and Drywall

I haven't posted anything about the house in a little while. The framing took much longer than expected. We are now at the drywall stage. All the windows are installed. The plumbing, electrical, and HVAC rough-in work is done and inspected. All of the insulation has also been finished. We went with spray foam insulation throughout the house, except for a couple of places where we just wanted the insulation to cut down on sound transmission. As of today, all of the downstairs drywall in our portion of the house is done, and they were working on my parent's portion of the house. Once the drywall is complete we should be able to get a firm date when the house will be finished. Right now we are expecting early September. We have to move out of our rental home, but we found an apartment that will let us live there with very flexible terms.

Here are a couple of new pictures of the exterior now that the windows are in. This is the front of the house.

This area will be off the dining room and will be where the patio is.

Here are some pictures that show what the spray foam insulation looks like.

Here are some pictures that show some rooms with the drywall completed. These first two are the living and dining room.

This is the master bedroom.
